SysWatch Network Edition
SysWatch Network Edition protects Windows-based small business networks against all types of malware viruses, trojans, spyware, zero-day threats, and more without the need for continuous signature file updates. It also enables businesses to protect their confidential data against accidental or deliberate misuse by employees and others with access to the company network.
SafenSec SysWatch Network Edition protects the entire IT environment documents, applications, system resources, the use of USB ports and devices, and user activities analyzing every event that occurs on the network and blocking anything that should not be happening. As such, the software can also be used to track employee activity, including the ability to monitor and record, and to block access to specific websites.
SysWatchs proactive protection is powered by SafeSecs patent-pending V.I.P.O. (Valid Inside Permitted Operations) technology. Loaded ahead of all other applications when the PC boots up, V.I.P.O. identifies, analyzes and blocks as required:
- Access to file system and registry objects
- Application execution
- Any other network activities that have the potential to impact security

A versatile rules engine explicitly identifies which actions are to be blocked under what circumstances. Additional conditions that may influence the systems behavior include the time or frequency of the action analyzed. Specific rules define the analysis algorithm itself and the system response to various application actions during certain periods of time. The rule base has two parts:
- System rules are designed to protect the OS and common applications from known and unknown threats, and may not be modified. These rules are created and maintained by SafenSoft engineers.
- Custom rules are defined by the business and leverage internal security policies to protect other applications and privileged information.
All of these elements are controlled through an intuitive graphical user interface that is based around the concept of trusted applications and confidential information. V.I.P.O.-based products provide a solid level of protection out of the box and can be tuned over time to deliver optimal security for every organization.
